送給一位美國的奶奶和她的家人們

這位奶奶年輕時也是一位護理師

她的晚年雖然依靠胃造廔管和輪椅生活

但還是非常開朗有活力，不畏疾病與死亡

十幾年前，我曾趴在她家的餐桌上寫著暑假作業的因數分解

當時她開玩笑的告訴我不要太認真寫作業，要認真玩！

因為這些東西往後都用不到XDD

（結果十幾年後我也當了護理師，結論是...真的用不太到...）

前年我回美國玩，雖然當時她已經帶著胃造廔管，也行動不便

但她仍然天天和上帝禱告，努力讓每一天過的充實

看到Leah的藍色頭髮還是會拍手說「這才是走在流行的尖端］

看到我還是開玩笑說「孩子，妳該不會還在算數學吧？！］

這星期，奶奶在醫院安詳的過世了

上帝把奶奶迎接到天堂了

Rest in peace, Doris, God bless you

（想當年高中分班我還把這首歌送給高中英文老師...）
